About me
Jennifer (Jennie) Flores is an instructional coach with an emphasis on supporting quantitative literacy for the Phoenix Unified High School District. She received her master’s in education from the University of Arizona and has been teaching high school mathematics and providing coaching support for 24 years. Jennie has also been promoting best practices in math education beyond Phoenix by serving in multiple roles on the board for the Arizona Math Leaders over the past 12 years. Jennie is passionate about supporting teachers as they seek to grow in their professional practice and focuses her work on providing authentic job embedded learning experiences to teachers that go beyond traditional professional learning. When she is not supporting teachers, Jennie spends much of her time with her family, supporting her kids as they pursue their endeavors, and baking!
