About me
Since the start of her career, Connie’s work in education has centered on passion and purpose. Grounded in her belief that access, opportunity, and asset-based thinking are essential elements to cultivating strong learning environments, she has shaped her path to learn and grow in service to all learners. Her experience spans middle and high school English with practice in AVID, IB, Montessori, gifted & talented, honors, AP, dual enrollment, English language learning, and exceptional student service. A life-long learner, she embraces thoughtful, honest, vulnerable reflection to continuously expand in the direction of growth. As she transitioned into literacy coaching, she came to explore power through the works of Brene Brown and Kemi Nekvapil. Grounded in the belief that real change comes from “being in the arena,” she invites educators to own their power, lead meaningful change, and advocate for schools where learners thrive.
