With 13 years dedicated to elementary education, Kathleen Malkhassian is an enthusiastic advocate for learning, currently working as an Instructional Coach at Thomas Elementary in Flagstaff, Arizona. Holding a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU, Kathleen's dedication to student success was celebrated in 2024 when she was named a Top Five Finalist for Arizona Teacher of the Year and became a 2024 Arizona Educational Foundation Ambassador for Excellence. Having taught Kindergarten through Fourth Grade in both Sedona and Flagstaff, her current coaching role reflects her deep belief in fostering active student participation and ownership within the learning process.
